Had to remove the cover plate of the network adapter.
Remove all jumpers, otherwise the drive is not recognized (Set to Single, see http://wdc.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wdc.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=712&p_created=1037285347&p_sid=m-7Y4pph&p_lva=84&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPXNlYXJjaF9mbmwmcF9wcm9kX2x2bDE9OTEmcF9wcm9kX2x2bDI9JnBfY2F0X2x2bDE9MTg1JnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9V0Q2MDBBQg**&p_li= )...

Removing the cover of the plate wasn't enough for me. I also had to file down a sizable chunk of the molex adapter. (Actually, I couldn't find a file, so I heated up an old screw driver with a blow torch and melted it down.) But everything seems to be working now.

Removing the cover plate also wasn't enough for me. However, I just whipped out my precision Torx screwdriver (Network Adapter uses T7 screws) and unscrewed the molex power plug on the adapter so everything would fit. Worked perfectly.

Correction on the Torx size.... the PS2 Network Adapter uses T6 screws.

i didnt have to modify anything to make it fit( still had to take the covor off), but it was a very tight fit. but my adaptor has the ethernet and phone line ports.
