Jumper setting is key to getting it to work. Instead of using master (pins 3 and 8) use pins 8 and 9 and it will load it up. |

Where do you start counting pins? I have this drive and have modded the network adaptor but it says that the HDD is not installed.I'm also using the HDD utility disc that came with the Sony drive so maybe thats the problem,if anyone lnows that would be great. |

Since this HDD has 10 poin jumper settings, it is too big to align correctly with the IDE interface on the network adaptor |

the placing of the jumper on 8 and 9 worked for me, read somewhere to use cableselect but it did not work for me. this link helped perfectly thanks |

it fits if u take the adaptor screws out and then unscrew the plugs from the adaptor houseing then it wil fit. i did |
