| I had to loosen the power connector to make both connectors fit the drive properly (not so hard to do). Further I had to set the jumper to CS (yes CS) to make HDLOADER recognize the drive. Setting to MASTER DIDN'T WORK! Drive is very quiet and doesn't generate much heat. Most of my games installed and ran without problems. CD games take about 10-15min, DVD games ~25 min I have been very happy with the performance although I probably would have bought a Hitachi in retrospect since they seem to be a direkt fit. |

| Needed to mod the adpater to get the drive to fit. Take out the screws holding the metal faceplate. Unscrew the two daughterboards, IDE and MOLEX. Take out the screws but leave the boards in place. File down the two outer edges of the metal faceplate. Then carefull stretch the two connectors into the drive. Make sure the drive is on Cable Select. ENJOY!!! | |
