| This drive works great with PS2 ver3. When I first got the drive I formatted it with WinHiip and then it would always freeze at the HDLoader splash screen. I had to Low Level Format the drive with http://hddguru.com/content/en/software/2006.04.12-HDD-Low-Level-Format-Tool/ you maybe able to format with fdisk /mbr and then delete the non dos partations or use some other 3rd party utulity. After low level format I place the drive in the PS2 and HDloader prompted to format the drive and I answered yes and then after that the drive worked great! |

| UPDATE: The Maxtor 320GB drive was working for a while but now has started freezing at the splash screen again. The second Maxtor 320GB drive I purchased is working perfect. It must have something to do with the drive. | |
