| Paired the Travelstar 7K1000 with the Startech IDE2SAT2 adapter & 6" IDE Extension Cable. Verified working. Installed FHDB with it connected to my Desktop SATA ports. The IDE Extension Cable orientation DOES matter. It essentially needs to be twisted for it to be connected properly. Used a plastic 2.5" to 3.5" adapter, & trimmed the very front off to make it fit in the hard drive bay, which also leaves enough room for the Startech adapter. | |||||||
