S.M.A.R.T is disable by using IBM feature tool.Installed Eye Toy (4gb) game and works.Drive is Quiet,10 seconds to format.

I have the same settings as you and it freezes on Start Up (just after the formating is done). Do I have to disable S.M.A.R.T. using IBM Feature Tool? or should it work even when SMART enabled?? Thanks corp

Hi: I have disabling S.M.A.R.T. using Hitachi Feature Tool (the same tool as IBM's one). But after being sure it is disabled, i plug the HD into the NA and starts HDLoader and it freezes. But the most incredible thing is that when I recheck SMART status it appears as "Enabled", so HDLoader should be enabling SMART every time it loads... Any advice is welcome. corp
