Drive worked but only display it as a 32 GB drive, also it got really hot after install two games. |

Yous didnt work probly because it has way to many gigs. The thing only reads a certain amount on the ps2.Thats probly why. |

Actually, I think he put the jumper on the wrong end. It sounds like the drive was in low-capacity compatibility mode.
If the drive's jumper were set properly, it should have shown 137gb. |

Not to mention, it's also damn foolish to think a drive WON'T get hot after being accessed constantly for 40 minutes or so (which is about the length of time required to install two games). It doesn't take much to make an HDD generate heat. |

Hard Drive was defective, exchanged it for another one.
